R&D Consulting, LLC was founded in 2010 by Denise and Verenander L.F. (Randy) Portis, lifelong Washington, D.C. natives and dedicated professionals. What began as a vision to provide support in human resources, employee relations, and Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) has grown into a trusted company with a specialized branch in tax preparation.
Our tax division serves a diverse clientele with personalized, accurate, and timely solutions. We pride ourselves on compliance with the latest tax regulations while fostering long-term client confidence and satisfaction.
Randy Portis, CEO, brings leadership experience from government and education, along with business and accounting expertise and extensive IRS tax training. Denise Portis, CAO, holds dual degrees in Management and HR Management (Magna Cum Laude), EEO and Mediation certifications, and years of government and consulting experience in HR and EEO.
